| AN ACT concerning education.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section |
| 5 |
| 14-1.09d and by changing Section 14-1.10 as follows:
|

| (105 ILCS 5/14-1.09d new)
|
| 7 |
| Sec. 14-1.09d. Behavior analyst. "Behavior analyst" means |
| 8 |
| a person who is certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification |
| 9 |
| Board.
|
| 10 |
| (105 ILCS 5/14-1.10) (from Ch. 122, par. 14-1.10)
|
| 11 |
| Sec. 14-1.10. Professional worker. "Professional worker" |
| 12 |
| means a trained specialist, and is
limited to speech |
| 13 |
| correctionist, school social worker, school
psychologist, |
| 14 |
| psychologist intern, school nurse intern, school social
worker |
| 15 |
| intern, certificated school nurse, special
administrator |
| 16 |
| intern, registered therapist, professional consultant,
special |
| 17 |
| administrator or supervisor giving full time to special
|
| 18 |
| education, behavior analyst, and teacher of any class or |
| 19 |
| program defined in this Article
who meets the requirements of |
| 20 |
| this Article, who has the required special
training in the |
| 21 |
| understandings, techniques, and special methods of
instruction |
| 22 |
| for children who because of their disabling
conditions
are |
| 23 |
| placed in any program provided for in this Article, and who |
| 24 |
| works in
such program.
