| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |

| represented in the General Assembly:

| Section 5. The Code of Civil Procedure is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 7-112 as follows:
|

| Sec. 7-112. Construction of Article. The
The right to take |

judgment as prescribed |

| any other right, power, or authority otherwise conferred by

| law, and shall not be construed as abrogating, limiting or |

| modifying any
such other right, power, or authority. |
