| HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION

| BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE |
| 4 |
| SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that we request that the State Board |
| 5 |
| of Education conduct a feasibility study on transferring the |
| 6 |
| Illinois High School Association's powers and duties to the |
| 7 |
| State Board of Education; and be it further
|
| 8 |
| RESOLVED, That the State Board of Education report its |
| 9 |
| findings and recommendations concerning this study to the House |
| 10 |
| and the Senate by filing copies of its report with the Clerk of |
| 11 |
| the House and the Secretary of the Senate on or before March |
| 12 |
| 13, 2006; and be it further
|
| 13 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 14 |
| delivered to the State Board of Education.
