| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, School impact fees are an ongoing problem in many |
| 3 |
| Illinois communities that are experiencing high population |
| 4 |
| growth; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, The Illinois School Impact Fee Task Force was |
| 6 |
| created by House Resolution 1006 of the 93rd General Assembly |
| 7 |
| for the purpose of studying impact fees in Illinois; the Task |
| 8 |
| Force was unable to complete its work in the allotted time |
| 9 |
| frame; therefore, be it
|
| 10 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 11 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 12 |
| there is established the Illinois School Impact Fee Task Force |
| 13 |
| for the purposes set forth in House Resolution 1006 of the 93rd |
| 14 |
| General Assembly; and be it further
|
| 15 |
| RESOLVED, That the Task Force shall consist of the |
| 16 |
| following members: (i) 2 members of the House of |
| 17 |
| Representatives, or their designees, appointed by the Speaker |
| 18 |
| of the House, one of whom shall serve as co-chairperson of the |
| 19 |
| Task Force; (ii) 2 members of the House of Representatives, or |
| 20 |
| their designees, appointed by the Minority Leader of the House, |
| 21 |
| one of whom shall serve as co-chairperson of the Task Force; |
| 22 |
| (iii) 2 members of the public, one of whom shall be appointed |
| 23 |
| by the Speaker of the House and one of whom shall be appointed |
| 24 |
| by the Minority Leader of the House; (iv) 2 members appointed |
| 25 |
| by an association that represents school boards; (v) 2 members |
| 26 |
| appointed by an association that represents school |
| 27 |
| administrators; (vi) 2 members appointed by an association that |
| 28 |
| represents home builders; (vii) 2 members appointed by an |
| 29 |
| association that represents realtors; (viii) one member |
| 30 |
| appointed by an association that represents municipalities; |
| 31 |
| (ix) one representative of municipal government; and (x) one |
| 32 |
| representative of county government; and be it further
