| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |

| State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Tom |
| 4 |
| Deaton on November 23, 2004; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born December 5, 1960; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, He was the Exalted Ruler of Mt. Vernon Lodge No. |
| 7 |
| 819 B.P.O. Elks; his name is now written upon its tablets of |
| 8 |
| love and memory; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Tom Deaton has been felt by all who |
| 10 |
| knew and loved him, especially his wife, Nancy, and his sons, |
| 11 |
| Brian and Blake; therefore, be it
|
| 12 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 13 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 14 |
| we mourn the passing of Tom Deaton and we extend our sincerest |
| 15 |
| condolences to his family, friends, and community; and be it |
| 16 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 18 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
| 19 |
| sympathy.
