| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |
| 3 |
| State of Illinois wish to congratulate Stella Barr, an esteemed |
| 4 |
| resident of Chicago, on the occasion of the celebration of her |
| 5 |
| 101st birthday; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Stella is a long-term member of The Provident |
| 7 |
| Missionary Baptist Church; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, She married her childhood sweetheart, Willie |
| 9 |
| Barr; they had five children, three sons and two daughters; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, In her business career, she was a seamstress; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, She has 33 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, |
| 12 |
| and 25 great-great-grandchildren; she has done her job of |
| 13 |
| replenishing the earth; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 16 |
| we extend our heartiest congratulations and best wishes to |
| 17 |
| Stella Barr on the occasion of her 101st birthday; we commend |
| 18 |
| her for achieving a long and fulfilling life, and we wish her |
| 19 |
| continued happiness and good health in the future; and be it |
| 20 |

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
