| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |
| 3 |
| State of Illinois are pleased to congratulate the members of |
| 4 |
| the Plainfield Central High School Wildcats boys bowling team |
| 5 |
| on earning an eighth place finish at the State tournament, |
| 6 |
| tying the record for highest finish by a team in State series |
| 7 |
| action in District 202 history; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Nick Swan, Charlie Kowalski, Dan Strubel, Jason |
| 9 |
| Kryst, Patryk Bec, and Chris Unger collectively rolled a |
| 10 |
| nine-game pin total of 9,249, just missing the cut for the top |
| 11 |
| six at the tournament; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Charlie Kowalski bowled some of the best games of |
| 13 |
| his career at the sectional tournament and then at State; he |
| 14 |
| was a junior varsity bowler most of the year, but at the |
| 15 |
| sectional, he had his first 600 series; Dan Strubel scored the |
| 16 |
| third highest for the team with a 1,908 in nine games; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, In 12 games at State, Nick Swan rolled a 2,671, |
| 18 |
| good for second place in the State individually; he is the |
| 19 |
| first District 202 athlete to place second at a State |
| 20 |
| tournament; and
|
| 21 |
| WHEREAS, The coach of the Wildcats is Sally Pagnusat; |
| 22 |
| therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 25 |
| we congratulate the Plainfield Central Wildcats boys bowling |
| 26 |
| team on placing eighth at the State tournament; and be it |
