| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |
| 3 |
| State of Illinois are pleased to honor citizens who have |
| 4 |
| achieved recognition for their volunteer efforts; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Ms. Cass Stevenson is a recipient of a Spotlight |
| 6 |
| on Service Award given by the Secretary of State/Illinois State |
| 7 |
| Library Literacy Office and the Illinois Press Association; the |
| 8 |
| Spotlight on Service Award honors volunteer tutors for their |
| 9 |
| heroic commitment to literacy; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Ms. Stevenson is a volunteer tutor from Kaskaskia |
| 11 |
| College; she will receive the Spotlight on Service Award during |
| 12 |
| ceremonies held on May 20, 2005; therefore, be it
|
| 13 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 14 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 15 |
| we congratulate Ms. Cass Stevenson on receiving a Spotlight on |
| 16 |
| Service Award given by the Secretary of State/Illinois State |
| 17 |
| Library Literacy Office and the Illinois Press Association, and |
| 18 |
| we thank her for her dedication to literacy; and be it further
|
| 19 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 20 |
| presented to Ms. Stevenson as an expression of our respect and |

| esteem.
