| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives learned with sadness of the death of Walter A. |
| 4 |
| Sava of St. Charles on April 5, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born July 20, 1929, in Chicago; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, For more than 32 years, he worked for AT&T, |
| 7 |
| formerly Western Electric, in West Chicago; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in |
| 9 |
| St. Charles; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War; |
| 11 |
| and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, He was a trustee of Baker Memorial Community |
| 13 |
| Center, chairman of the Kane County Zoning Board of Appeals |
| 14 |
| from 1979 to 1983, a Republican precinct committeeman, St. |
| 15 |
| Charles Township trustee, and St. Charles Township supervisor |
| 16 |
| from 1983 to 1993; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, He was a member and officer of St. Charles Jaycees |
| 18 |
| and, most of all, he was a lifelong White Sox fan; and
|
| 19 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Walter A. Sava is felt by all who |
| 20 |
| knew and loved him, especially his wife of 54 years, Lorraine; |
| 21 |
| his son, Stu (Tammi) Sava; his sisters, Dorothy (Ray) Goslin |
| 22 |
| and Millie (Robert) Nowicki; and his brother, Paul (Lorraine) |
| 23 |
| Sava; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |

| we mourn the passing of Walter A. Sava and extend to his family |
| 27 |
| our sincerest condolences; and be it further
