| WHEREAS, The Marion Junior High School volleyball team |

| recently won the Southern Illinois Junior High School Athletic |
| 4 |
| Association's 2005 Class L volleyball tournament; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, The team's record for the season was 19 wins and 4 |
| 6 |
| losses; the team defeated Mt. Carmel 25-23 and 25-12; Bresse |
| 7 |
| 25-15, 8-25, and 15-6; and Carbondale 29-31, 25-20, and 15-12 |
| 8 |
| to win the championship; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, The head coach of the Marion Junior High Wildcats |
| 10 |
| is Mary Thomason; Lynn Love serves as the assistant coach, and |
| 11 |
| Jennifer Marcum and Mandy Wells serve as volunteer assistants |
| 12 |
| for the team; Tess Henderson is the manager; and
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the team are Hannah Baker, Ashley |

| Buffington, Megan Crider, Amanda Crump, Brittany Dickson, |

| Haley Kirby, Megan Murphy, Brianna Robertson, Kileigh Rousey, |

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |

| we congratulate the Marion Junior High School volleyball team |

| on winning the Southern Illinois Junior High School Athletic |
