| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, Darrel Gavle has stepped down as a member of the |
| 3 |
| Crystal Lake Public Library Board of Trustees; and
|
| 4 |
| WHEREAS, An event will be held on June 17, 2005, at the |
| 5 |
| Crystal Lake Country Club to show appreciation for his years of |
| 6 |
| service on the Board; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Gavle has served over 20 years on the Board, |
| 8 |
| three terms as President; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, He has provided his assistance during three |
| 10 |
| additions to the library building, he has carefully and |
| 11 |
| thoughtfully monitored library funds, and he is appreciated for |
| 12 |
| his ability to get to the point and facilitate consensus |
| 13 |
| results by the Board, as well as for his consistent |
| 14 |
| reasonableness and civility; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, He is known for his common sense and willingness |
| 16 |
| to go the extra mile, for his continuing devotion to the best |
| 17 |
| interests of the Library, and for his ability to soldier on in |
| 18 |
| the face of adversity; and
|
| 19 |
| WHEREAS, He has worked harmoniously with others and has set
|
| 20 |
| an exemplary example in his service to the citizens of Crystal |
| 21 |
| Lake; therefore, be it
|
| 22 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 23 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 24 |
| we commend Darrel Gavle for
his many years of service to his |
| 25 |
| community and wish him all the best in his future endeavors; |
| 26 |
| and be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 28 |
| presented to Darrel Gavle as an expression of our esteem.
