| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of this Body are honored to recognize |
| 3 |
| significant milestones in the lives of the people of this |
| 4 |
| State; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Ms. Fannie |
| 6 |
| Rainey of Calumet City is celebrating the 100th anniversary of |
| 7 |
| her birth; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Ms. Rainey was born on September 23, 1905, in |
| 9 |
| Little Rock, Arkansas; her entire life has been spent as a |
| 10 |
| prayer warrior; throughout her life, she has attended church, |
| 11 |
| worked, helped to raise children, and attended to the needs of |
| 12 |
| the sick, shut-in, and disabled; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, She enjoys reading, writing poetry, and reciting |
| 14 |
| poetry, which she continues to this day; she has quite a sense |
| 15 |
| of humor and loves people; she is a member of Calvary Baptist |
| 16 |
| Church in Glenwood; her daily motto is to provide an |
| 17 |
| encouraging word and words of wisdom to all she meets; and
|
| 18 |
| WHEREAS, She will be honored at a birthday celebration in |
| 19 |
| coordination with her family reunion on Friday, September 23, |
| 20 |
| 2005, at the Hilton Garden Inn in South Holland; the |
| 21 |
| celebration will continue through Sunday, September 25, 2005; |
| 22 |
| therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 25 |
| we congratulate Ms. Fannie Rainey on the occasion of her 100th |
| 26 |
| birthday, and we extend to her our sincere best wishes for the |
| 27 |
| future; and be it further
