| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, Dr. A.P. Aguilar, a family practice physician in |
| 3 |
| the Kinmundy, Salem, Illinois area, has retired after 52 years |
| 4 |
| of dedicated service to medicine and 37 years of serving the |
| 5 |
| local community; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Dr. Aguilar emigrated from Cuba to Spain and then |
| 7 |
| to the United States; many years ago, a friend named Dr. Rubio, |
| 8 |
| who came from the same town in Cuba, invited him to come to |
| 9 |
| Kinmundy to practice medicine; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, While leading a very quiet life, he gave a |
| 11 |
| lifetime of service to his fellow man; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, He lives with his wife, Isabell, and is the father |
| 13 |
| of four children (three surviving, one deceased); he also has |
| 14 |
| two grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Dr. Aguilar will spend his retirement gardening, |
| 16 |
| reading, and playing with his grandchildren; therefore, be it
|
| 17 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 18 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 19 |
| we thank Dr. Aguilar for his many years of dedicated service |
| 20 |
| and join with the residents of the community and the Salem |
| 21 |
| Township Hospital administration and staff to wish him the best |
| 22 |
| of health and happiness in the years to come; and be it further
|
| 23 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 24 |
| presented to Dr. A.P. Aguilar as an expression of our utmost |
| 25 |
| admiration and esteem.
