| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, Deputy Fire Chief Leon Paul Fritz has retired from |
| 3 |
| the Bradley Fire Department; and
|
| 4 |
| WHEREAS, Firefighting is a public service of the highest |
| 5 |
| order, and its practitioners are individuals whom Illinoisans |
| 6 |
| rely upon at unexpected and often frightening moments; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Deputy Fire Chief Fritz joined the fire department |
| 8 |
| as a Firefighter in January of 1971; he was promoted to the |
| 9 |
| positions of Engineer, Lieutenant, Captain, Deputy Chief, |
| 10 |
| Assistant Chief, and Chief; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, He has been a lifelong resident of Bradley and has |
| 12 |
| always had his heart in everything he does; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, The community of Bradley has been extremely |
| 14 |
| fortunate to have been the beneficiary of Deputy Fire Chief |
| 15 |
| Fritz's firefighting expertise; therefore, be it
|
| 16 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 17 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 18 |
| we congratulate Deputy Fire Chief Leon P. Fritz on his |
| 19 |
| retirement, and we thank him for his exemplary service with the |
| 20 |
| Bradley Fire Department; and be it further
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 22 |
| presented to Deputy Fire Chief Leon P. Fritz with our best |
| 23 |
| wishes for whatever his future may hold.
