| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of this Body are honored to recognize |
| 3 |
| significant milestones in the lives of the people of this |
| 4 |
| State; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Grace Styck of |
| 6 |
| Kankakee recently celebrated the 112th anniversary of her |
| 7 |
| birth; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Grace Goodrich was born on December 15, 1893, in |
| 9 |
| Saunemin; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, She married Peter Styck in 1913; they established |
| 11 |
| a farm in Limestone Township, where they reared ten children, |
| 12 |
| five boys and five girls; she has 24 grandchildren, 53 |
| 13 |
| great-grandchildren, 58 great-great-grandchildren, and one |
| 14 |
| great-great-great-grandchild; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Styck is one of the oldest living residents |
| 16 |
| of Illinois and may very well be the oldest living resident of |
| 17 |
| Kankakee County; she enjoys chocolate and visiting with family; |
| 18 |
| therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 20 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 21 |
| we congratulate Mrs. Grace Styck on the occasion of her 112th |
| 22 |
| birthday, and we extend to her our sincere best wishes for the |
| 23 |
| future; and be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 25 |
| presented to Mrs. Styck as an expression of our respect and |
| 26 |
| esteem.
