| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 4 |
| there is created a Task Force on Municipal Pre-Annexation |
| 5 |
| Agreements for the purpose of studying the enforcement of |
| 6 |
| municipal zoning ordinances in unincorporated areas that are |
| 7 |
| not contiguous to a municipality but that are the subject of |
| 8 |
| pre-annexation agreements between the municipality and |
| 9 |
| developers; and be it further
|
| 10 |
| RESOLVED, that the Task Force on Municipal Pre-Annexation |
| 11 |
| Agreements shall consist of the following members: |
| 12 |
| (1) 4 members of the House of Representatives: 2 |
| 13 |
| members appointed by the Speaker of the House of |
| 14 |
| Representatives, one of whom shall be a co-chairperson, and |
| 15 |
| 2 members appointed by the Minority Leader of the House of |
| 16 |
| Representatives, one of whom shall be a co-chairperson; |
| 17 |
| (2) 2 members appointed from an association that |
| 18 |
| represents municipalities; |
| 19 |
| (3) 2 members appointed from an association that |
| 20 |
| represents counties; |
| 21 |
| (4) one member appointed by an association that |
| 22 |
| represents Illinois home builders; and |
| 23 |
| (5) one member appointed by an association that |
| 24 |
| represents the Illinois legal community.
