| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The Woodridge Jaycees recently won the coveted |
| 3 |
| Giessenbier Award at the Illinois Jaycees Convention in |
| 4 |
| Decatur, making the Woodridge chapter number one for 2005 out |
| 5 |
| of 120 chapters in the State of Illinois; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, The chapter won nearly 20 individual awards, |
| 7 |
| including the President's Club Award; the Outstanding Local |
| 8 |
| Membership Development Vice President Runner Up, Gina Cihak; |
| 9 |
| the Blue Chip for Excellence in Programming and Membership; |
| 10 |
| Overall Sweepstakes in the Community Area of Opportunity; the |
| 11 |
| Outstanding Chapter Newsletter, Git R' Done, for the fourth |
| 12 |
| quarter; the Membership V.P. Choice Award for the fourth |
| 13 |
| quarter for a project called More Cushion for the Pushin' into |
| 14 |
| 2006; the overall number one Community Project, Operation |
| 15 |
| Guardian Angel; the Outstanding Development V.P., Debbi White; |
| 16 |
| the Outstanding Community Development Chapter; and runner-up |
| 17 |
| for the Metro Chapter for the fourth quarter; and
|
| 18 |
| WHEREAS, The organization also received divisional awards, |
| 19 |
| including first place for Individual Area of Opportunity |
| 20 |
| Division 6, first place for International Area of Opportunity, |
| 21 |
| and first place for Business Area of Opportunity; and
|
| 22 |
| WHEREAS, The Woodridge Jaycees work hard throughout the |
| 23 |
| year to support the people of their community and are to be |
| 24 |
| applauded for their outstanding efforts; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 26 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 27 |
| we congratulate the Woodridge Jaycees on winning the |
| 28 |
| Giessenbier Award for 2005 at the Illinois Jaycees Convention |

| in Decatur; and be it further
