| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |
| 3 |
| State of Illinois are pleased to congratulate the Hoffman |
| 4 |
| Estates Hawks Junior PeeWee cheerleading team on winning the |
| 5 |
| Division 10 Small - Intermediate category national |
| 6 |
| championship; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, The Hawks competed in Tucson, Arizona, at the |
| 8 |
| American Youth Football and Cheerleading National Championship |
| 9 |
| during the week of December 4 through 10, 2005; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, In honor of their accomplishment, Hoffman Estates |
| 11 |
| Mayor Bill McLeod proclaimed Friday, February 10, 2006, as |
| 12 |
| Hawks Cheerleading Day in Hoffman Estates; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, The team is made up of about a dozen third, |
| 14 |
| fourth, and fifth grade students; they are sponsored by the |
| 15 |
| Hoffman Estates Athletic Association under the direction of |
| 16 |
| President Mark Mueller and Vice President for Cheerleading |
| 17 |
| Renee Koziel; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 19 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 20 |
| we congratulate the Hoffman Estates Hawks Junior PeeWee |
| 21 |
| cheerleading team on being named national champions at the |
| 22 |
| American Youth Cheerleading Championship; and be it further
|
| 23 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 24 |
| presented to the team as an expression of our esteem.
