| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, Randy and Denise Pingsterhaus and family were |
| 3 |
| honored as the Clinton County Farm Family of the Year on |
| 4 |
| February 14, 2006, at the 59th annual meeting of the Clinton |
| 5 |
| County Soil and Water Conservation District ; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, The Pingsterhaus Dairy Farm is located southwest |
| 7 |
| of Breese; Mr. and Mrs. Pingsterhaus are the fourth generation |
| 8 |
| of Pingsterhauses to continue in the operation of the dairy |
| 9 |
| farm; it has continued to be a self-sufficient dairy for 133 |
| 10 |
| years; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, The Pingsterhaus family operates a 200-head |
| 12 |
| Holstein herd that consists of 90 to 100 milkers; the farm |
| 13 |
| consists of 223 acres located on 3 tracts in Breese, Sugar |
| 14 |
| Creek, and Looking Glass townships; therefore, be it
|
| 15 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 16 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 17 |
| we congratulate the Pingsterhaus family on being named the |
| 18 |
| Clinton County Farm Family of the Year; and be it further
|
| 19 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 20 |
| presented to the Pingsterhaus family as an expression of our |
| 21 |
| respect and esteem.
