| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The Epiphany School Lady Knights seventh grade |
| 3 |
| girls basketball team of Normal recently won the IESA 7A State |
| 4 |
| Championship; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, The Lady Knights finished a stellar season with a |
| 6 |
| record of 27 wins and no losses; they were the Epiphany |
| 7 |
| Columbus Day Tournament Champions; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, They were the Sangamon Valley Conference regular |
| 9 |
| season and tournament champions; they went on to win at the |
| 10 |
| regional and sectional level as well; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, The team is led by head coach Greg Reinhart and |
| 12 |
| assistant coach Dave Schmitt; the statistician is Catie Whalen; |
| 13 |
| and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Lady Knights are Allie Norton, |
| 15 |
| Lindsay Stopa, Rachel Nolan, Emily Beoletto, Mia Hartung, Ellen |
| 16 |
| Walters, Jess Reinhart, Amanda Hess, and Chelsea Turner; |
| 17 |
| therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 19 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 20 |
| we congratulate the Lady Knights on an outstanding season and |
| 21 |
| on winning the IESA 7A State Championship; and be it further
|
| 22 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 23 |
| presented to each of the members and coaches of the Lady |
| 24 |
| Knights and to Epiphany School as an expression of our esteem.
