| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The Epiphany School Lady Knights eighth grade |
| 3 |
| girls basketball team of Normal recently placed third in the |
| 4 |
| IESA 8A State Tournament; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, The Lady Knights finished the season with an |
| 6 |
| excellent record of 24 wins and 3 losses and a home record of |
| 7 |
| 12 wins and no losses; they were the Epiphany Columbus Day |
| 8 |
| Tournament Champions; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, They were the Sangamon Valley Conference regular |
| 10 |
| season champions and placed second at the Sangamon Valley |
| 11 |
| Conference tournament; they went on to win at the regional and |
| 12 |
| sectional level; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, The team is led by head coach Dave Schmitt and |
| 14 |
| assistant coach Greg Reinhart; the statistician is Zoe Myers, |
| 15 |
| and the manager is Jordan Weth; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Lady Knights are Chelsea |
| 17 |
| Collins, Haley Cook, Kristina Mlincsek, Jamie Baldwin, Carly |
| 18 |
| Norton, Cristin Neill, Jennifer Baldwin, Maggie Blaney, and |
| 19 |
| Julie Schmitt; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 22 |
| we congratulate the Lady Knights on an excellent season and on |
| 23 |
| placing third in the IESA 8A State Tournament; and be it |
| 24 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 26 |
| presented to each of the members and coaches of the Lady |
| 27 |
| Knights and to Epiphany School as an expression of our esteem.
