| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, Brave citizens are serving our country all over |
| 3 |
| the world, placing themselves in harm's way in order to protect |
| 4 |
| the freedom and lives of people everywhere; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Those individuals who choose to serve our country |
| 6 |
| in the Armed Forces are worthy of the highest praise; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Many National Guard and Reserve members have been |
| 8 |
| required to take indefinite leave from places of employment and |
| 9 |
| all service members, active and reserve component, have left |
| 10 |
| loved ones behind; and |
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, The following members of the Illinois Army |
| 12 |
| National Guard C Company, 2-123rd Field Artillery, returned |
| 13 |
| home in February after service in Iraq: Sergeant Alex Pracht, |
| 14 |
| Specialist Cody Goldsborough, Specialist Josh Melton, |
| 15 |
| Specialist Scott Deuser, Sergeant Jason Berry, Specialist Josh |
| 16 |
| Schniers, Specialist T.J. Tebbe, Specialist Craig Luebbers, |
| 17 |
| Sergeant Todd Perry, and Specialist Phillip Markus; they will |
| 18 |
| be honored at a parade on Saturday, March 18, 2006; and
|
| 19 |
| WHEREAS, Illinois is proud of our courageous soldiers who |
| 20 |
| serve in the Illinois National Guard and other branches of the |
| 21 |
| military; therefore, be it
|
| 22 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 23 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 24 |
| we welcome these brave and courageous individuals as they |
| 25 |
| return home from Iraq, and we thank them for their devotion to |
| 26 |
| our country and willingness to bravely serve and defend the |
| 27 |
| freedom of people everywhere; and be it further
|

| RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be |

| presented to each of the soldiers as an expression of our |
