| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The Wesclin Warriors boys basketball team |
| 3 |
| recently won its IHSA Class A regional tournament and went on |
| 4 |
| to win the supersectional semifinal game as well; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, The Warriors defeated the Greenville Comets in the |
| 6 |
| Staunton Regional title game with a score of 48 to 38; they |
| 7 |
| defeated Columbia in the semifinal supersectional game with a |
| 8 |
| score of 57 to 39; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Nick Fuhler had a game-high 20 points in the |
| 10 |
| supersectional semifinal, and two students finished the game |
| 11 |
| with a double-double, Brent Schomaker and Sean Rakers; the team |
| 12 |
| made ten out of eleven free throws; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, The Wesclin Warriors are led by head coach Brent |
| 14 |
| Brede; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 16 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 17 |
| we congratulate the Wesclin Warriors boys basketball team on |
| 18 |
| winning the IHSA Class A Staunton Regional tournament; and be |
| 19 |
| it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 21 |
| presented to each of the members and the coaches of the Wesclin |
| 22 |
| Warriors boys basketball team as an expression of our esteem.
