| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The Mater Dei High School Lady Knights recently |
| 3 |
| finished their first season as an IHSA Class AA school with a |
| 4 |
| record of 23 wins and seven losses; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, The Lady Knights' season came to a close in the |
| 6 |
| Belleville East Sectional championship game against Althoff; |
| 7 |
| and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, The team had a great season, including a second |
| 9 |
| place finish at the Highland Tournament, while only having two |
| 10 |
| seniors on their roster, Amanda Rickhoff and Megan Dooley; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, The Lady Knights are led by head coach Dave |
| 12 |
| Kohnen; therefore, be it
|
| 13 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 14 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 15 |
| we congratulate the Mater Dei High School Lady Knights on an |
| 16 |
| excellent basketball season; and be it further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 18 |
| presented to each of the members and coaches of the Lady |
| 19 |
| Knights as an expression of our esteem.
