| WHEREAS, The Richwoods High School Knights boys basketball |

| team of Peoria recently placed second in the IHSA Class AA Boys |
| 4 |
| Basketball State Tournament; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, The team finished the season with a record of 26 |
| 6 |
| wins and seven losses; they were the Mid-State Six Conference |
| 7 |
| Champions, and regional, sectional, and super-sectional |
| 8 |
| champions; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Bill Cole, Justin Dehm, and Ryan Phillips were |
| 10 |
| named to the All Conference First Team; Patrick Hogan received |
| 11 |
| an All Conference Honorable Mention; Bill Cole received several |
| 12 |
| other honors, including being named to the Quincy Thanksgiving |
| 13 |
| Tournament and Pekin Holiday Tournament All-Tournament Teams, |
| 14 |
| the IBCA First Team, and the IHSA Class AA State Tournament |
| 15 |
| First Team; he also received an All-State Honorable Mention |
| 16 |
| from the A.P.; Justin Dehm was also named to the Quincy |
| 17 |
| Thanksgiving Tournament All-Tournament Team, the IBCA Third |
| 18 |
| Team, and the IHSA Class AA State Tournament First Team; and

| WHEREAS, The team is comprised of: seniors Matt Coates, |

| Patrick Hogan, Steve Kouri Jr. (captain), Dan Mathis, and Ryan |

| Phillips; juniors Bill Cole, Justin Dehm, Cody Halstead, |

| Lawrence Hardin, Ned Matuzak, DeCarlos Ross, and Courtney |

| Smith; sophomores Nick Morgan, Frank Polnitz, Troy Rice |

| (manager), and James Robertson; and freshman Jake Fiddes; and

| WHEREAS, The Knights are led by Head Coach Mike Ellis and |
