| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |

| State of Illinois are proud to honor students in our State who |

| have achieved recognition; and

| WHEREAS, Rebecca Clark, a fifth grader at Bluford School, |
| 6 |
| recently won a prize in the 18th Annual Illinois Coal Calendar |
| 7 |
| Art and Essay Contest sponsored by the Illinois Department of |
| 8 |
| Commerce and Economic Opportunity's Office of Coal |
| 9 |
| Development; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Miss Clark's essay is titled "Coal Mining in |
| 11 |
| Illinois"; she will be honored at the Illinois Coal Calendar |
| 12 |
| Awards Reception on Friday, May 5, 2006, at the Executive |
| 13 |
| Mansion in Springfield; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |

| we congratulate Rebecca Clark on winning a prize in the 18th |

| Annual Illinois Coal Calendar Art and Essay Contest; and be it |
