| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, Michael Quigley retired from his position as |
| 3 |
| Executive Director of the Indiana-Illinois-Iowa Foundation for |
| 4 |
| Fair Contracting on Saturday, April 1, 2006; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Quigley is a 35-year member of the Operating |
| 6 |
| Engineers and was a business agent for IUOE Local 150 for 12 |
| 7 |
| years; while serving as president of the Will/Grundy Building |
| 8 |
| Trades Council for 10 years, he was also elected to the |
| 9 |
| Kankakee County Board where he served for 12 years, and was a |
| 10 |
| Board Member of the Will County United Way; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, He helped develop and served as the Labor |
| 12 |
| Co-Chairman of the Three Rivers Construction Alliance, Will |
| 13 |
| County's first labor management organization dealing solely |
| 14 |
| with the construction industry; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, In 1999, he was appointed Executive Director of |
| 16 |
| Target Construction Research and the Indiana-Illinois-Iowa |
| 17 |
| Foundation for Fair Contracting; and
|
| 18 |
| WHEREAS, He is a life long resident of Kankakee; he is |
| 19 |
| married and raised four children and is currently enjoying his |
| 20 |
| grandchildren; therefore, be it
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 22 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 23 |
| we congratulate Michael Quigley on the occasion of his |
| 24 |
| retirement as Executive Director of the Indiana-Illinois-Iowa |
| 25 |
| Foundation for Fair Contracting; and be it further
|
| 26 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 27 |
| presented to Mr. Quigley as an expression of our respect and |
| 28 |
| esteem and with best wishes for a relaxing retirement.
