| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The Park Place Recreation Center, part of the |
| 3 |
| Streamwood Park District, celebrates its tenth anniversary |
| 4 |
| this year; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, The center opened in May of 1996; it features a |
| 6 |
| state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor track, waterpark, lap |
| 7 |
| pool, sauna, whirlpool, collegiate-size gym, baby-sitting |
| 8 |
| services, aerobics studio, Children's Learning Center, Senior |
| 9 |
| Center, and classroom/meeting rooms; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, The state-of-the-art facility serves the patrons |
| 11 |
| of the district just as the community envisioned in 1996 and |
| 12 |
| continues to provide the most current and requested programs |
| 13 |
| around; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, In honor of the anniversary, the district rolled |
| 15 |
| back member prices this year to the 1996 rate; therefore, be it
|
| 16 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 17 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 18 |
| we recognize the tenth anniversary of the Park Place Recreation |
| 19 |
| Center; and be it further
|
| 20 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 21 |
| presented to the Streamwood Park District.
