| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of this Body are proud to extend our |
| 3 |
| heartfelt welcome to Timo Dalm, as he comes to Illinois as a |
| 4 |
| Rotary Exchange Student from his home county of |
| 5 |
| Baden-Württemberg, Germany; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Dalm comes as an exchange student, having been |
| 7 |
| interviewed by the Rotary Club of Göppingen-Stauferland and |
| 8 |
| District 1830; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, He enjoys sports, and his favorite hobby is |
| 10 |
| skiing; he began skiing when he was four years old; he also |
| 11 |
| plays tennis and is on the school tennis team; he plays |
| 12 |
| saxophone and is a member of the school band; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, He is 17 years old and has one older brother; he |
| 14 |
| enjoys traveling around Europe to ski and learn about other |
| 15 |
| cultures; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, During his experience as an exchange student, Mr. |
| 17 |
| Dalm hopes to have important experiences, meet new friends, and |
| 18 |
| have a chance to develop his own personality away from home; he |
| 19 |
| looks forward to facing difficult situations and finding |
| 20 |
| solutions on his own to help build strength and |
| 21 |
| self-confidence; he is anticipating getting to know a different |
| 22 |
| way of life, culture, traditions, and habits, and becoming more |
| 23 |
| accomplished in his language skills; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 26 |
| we welcome Timo Dalm to Illinois, and we wish him the best as |
| 27 |
| he resides here for the year; and be it further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 29 |
| presented to him as an expression of our esteem.
