| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |
| 3 |
| State of Illinois learned with regret of the recent death of |
| 4 |
| Idella Green; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born on January 5, 1923, in Belzoni, |
| 6 |
| Mississippi; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Green was a mother of six children, a |
| 8 |
| community activist in the 34th ward, and also a community |
| 9 |
| leader in the Morgan Park area; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, She retired from General Electric in 1975 and |
| 11 |
| spent her last ten years as a political supporter in the 29th |
| 12 |
| district; therefore, be it
|
| 13 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 14 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 15 |
| we mourn the passing of Idella Green, and we extend our sincere |
| 16 |
| condolences to her family, her friends, and all who knew and |
| 17 |
| loved her; and be it further
|
| 18 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 19 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |
| 20 |
| sympathy.
