| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives are |
| 3 |
| pleased to honor two young individuals, who through their quick |
| 4 |
| thinking in an emergency situation, saved the life of their |
| 5 |
| brother; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, On a sunny day during the first week of August, |
| 7 |
| Breanna, Tanner, and Ethann Hester were enjoying a neighbor's |
| 8 |
| pool in Salem, when Ethann accidentally fell into the pool; |
| 9 |
| Tanner yelled his brother's name, alerting his sister to the |
| 10 |
| crisis at hand; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Breanna immediately swam to her brother and |
| 12 |
| rescued him; he wasn't breathing right, so she patted him on |
| 13 |
| the back, and he began to cry; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Through the heroic efforts of his siblings, |
| 15 |
| Breanna and Tanner Hester, the life of Ethann Hester was saved; |
| 16 |
| therefore, be it
|
| 17 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 18 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 19 |
| we honor Breanna and Tanner Hester for rescuing their brother, |
| 20 |
| Ethann, from drowning; and be it further
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 22 |
| presented to the Hester children as an expression of our |
| 23 |
| esteem.
