| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to recognize the volunteers who |
| 4 |
| worked to construct the new firehouse in Loraine, Illinois; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Many people in Loraine volunteered their time and |
| 6 |
| efforts for over 19 months, working together to erect a |
| 7 |
| firehouse for the new truck the department received through a |
| 8 |
| grant; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, The people selflessly dedicated to saving lives, |
| 10 |
| stopping fires, and helping out others in the community are to |
| 11 |
| be honored for their hard work and sacrifice; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, The new Loraine Fire District Building and fire |
| 13 |
| truck were dedicated on Saturday, September 30, 2006; |
| 14 |
| therefore, be it
|
| 15 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 16 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 17 |
| we congratulate the people of the Loraine Fire District on the |
| 18 |
| dedication of the new building, and we commend those who worked |
| 19 |
| tirelessly to complete the project; and be it further
|
| 20 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 21 |
| presented to the Loraine Fire District as an expression of our |
| 22 |
| esteem.
