| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |
| 3 |
| State of Illinois are pleased to congratulate L.T. Graham on |
| 4 |
| his recent success at the Illinois Senior Olympics; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Graham competed in the Illinois Senior |
| 6 |
| Olympics in Springfield on Sunday, September 17, 2006; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, He ran the 100-meter dash in 13.1 seconds and |
| 8 |
| missed an age-group world record in the 200-meter dash by |
| 9 |
| two-tenths of a second, finishing in 28 seconds; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, He successfully ran the races with a cast from a |
| 11 |
| broken arm; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, He took second place in the 50-meter dash as well; |
| 13 |
| his first place finishes qualify him to compete in the national |
| 14 |
| Senior Olympics in Louisville, Kentucky, next June; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Graham is a materials specialist at Bergstrom |
| 16 |
| Manufacturing Co.; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 18 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 19 |
| we congratulate L.T. Graham on winning two gold medals and a |
| 20 |
| silver medal at the Illinois Senior Olympics; and be it further
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 22 |
| presented to Mr. Graham as an expression of our esteem.
