| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to honor milestones in the lives of |
| 4 |
| citizens of the State of Illinois; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Boots Gilbert is retiring from the Coles County |
| 6 |
| Clerk's Office on November 30, 2006; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, She has served as Deputy County Clerk, Chief |
| 8 |
| Recorder, and is currently the Chief Deputy County Clerk and |
| 9 |
| Recorder; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, She started with the Clerk's Office in June of |
| 11 |
| 1973; in her time in the office, she has recorded and preserved |
| 12 |
| nearly 12,000 documents a year; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, Boots Gilbert will enjoy her retirement, giving |
| 14 |
| her time to spend with her family, including her daughter, Bett |
| 15 |
| Ostrem; her grandchildren, Heather, Jaime, Shannon, Jason, and |
| 16 |
| Jeremy; her great-grandchildren, Garren, Devon, Derrick, |
| 17 |
| Matteson, and Zachary; and
|
| 18 |
| WHEREAS, According to her daughter, Boots Gilbert is one of |
| 19 |
| the most conscientious, loyal, and considerate people one would |
| 20 |
| ever meet; therefore, be it
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 22 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 23 |
| we congratulate Boots Gilbert on her retirement and wish her |
| 24 |
| continued success in the future; and be it further
|
| 25 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 26 |
| presented to Boots Gilbert.
