AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 85

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 85 as follows:

on page 20, by replacing line 36 with the following:

"custodian of qualifying pupils exceed $500."; and

on page 21, by deleting lines 1 through 4; and

on page 21, immediately below line 8, by inserting the 
7
following:

    "For  taxable years ending on or after December 31, 2004,
 to 
9
be eligible for the credit under this subsection  (m),  the    
10
taxpayer's  gross income for federal income tax purposes must
be 
11
equal to or less than $60,000 per year.".
