| 1 | AN ACT concerning nursing mothers.

| 2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | Section 5. The Jury Act is amended by adding Section 10.3 | ||||||
| 5 | as follows: | ||||||
| 6 | (705 ILCS 305/10.3 new) | ||||||
| 7 | Sec. 10.3. Excusing prospective jurors; nursing mothers. | ||||||
| 8 | Any mother nursing her child shall, upon request, be excused | ||||||
| 9 | from jury service.
