    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Mercury Fever Thermometer Prohibition Act is

amended by
changing Section 20 as follows:

    (410 ILCS 46/20)

    Sec. 20. Manufacturing of mercury fever thermometers 
8
prohibited. On or
after July 1, 2004, no person shall 
9
manufacture a mercury fever

thermometer in this
this State.
