| AN ACT concerning civil law.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. Upon the payment of the sum of $7,033,333, based |
| 5 |
| on the average of 3 certified appraisals, to the University of |
| 6 |
| Illinois, the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois |
| 7 |
| is authorized to convey by quitclaim deed all rights, title, |
| 8 |
| and interest in and to the following described land in Cook |
| 9 |
| County, Illinois, to the Chicago Park District:

| Section 10. The Board of Trustees of the University of |
| 22 |
| Illinois shall obtain a certified copy of this Act within 60 |
| 23 |
| days after this Act's effective date and, upon receipt of the |
| 24 |
| payment required by Section 5 of this Act, shall record the |
| 25 |
| certified document in the Recorder's Office of Cook County, |
| 26 |
| Illinois.

| 27 |
| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 28 |
| becoming law.
|
