| AN ACT concerning public aid.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by |
| 5 |
| adding Section 12-13.4 as follows:
|

| Sec. 12-13.4. Materials on nutritional health. The |
| 8 |
| Department of Human Services, in cooperation with the |
| 9 |
| Department of Public Health, shall develop materials and |
| 10 |
| resources on nutritional health for distribution to new |
| 11 |
| enrollees in the TANF program under Article IV and the Food |
| 12 |
| Stamp program. The Department of Public Health shall develop a |
| 13 |
| video presentation on nutritional health to be shown to new |
| 14 |
| enrollees in the TANF program under Article IV and the Food |
| 15 |
| Stamp program. The Department of Human Services shall develop |
| 16 |
| the materials and resources within 6 months after the effective |
| 17 |
| date of this amendatory Act of the 94th General Assembly and |
| 18 |
| shall provide those materials and resources to all persons who |
| 19 |
| enroll in the TANF program and the Food Stamp program after the |
| 20 |
| materials and resources are developed.

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect January |
| 22 |
| 1, 2006.
