AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1682

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1682 as follows:

on page 3, by replacing lines 19 through 20 with the following:

"however, that any mistake occurring in the printing or any 
5
publication of the ballot shall not"; and
 
6
on page 3, by replacing lines 32 through 36 with the following:
7
    "exceeds the most recently extended rate for the fund, and 
8
    the statement that approval of the proposition will permit 
9
    the taxing district to increase the rate extended for the 
10
    fund by that amount." and
 
11
on page 4, by deleting lines 1 through 14; and
 
12
on page 4, by replacing lines 17 through 18 with the following:
13
"information, and the proposition shall contain any other 
14
information required by any other applicable law to be included 
15
in the proposition.  Notice of the referendum shall be published 
16
and".
