| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1726 on page 4 by |

| replacing lines 34 and 35 with the following:

| "The Department shall make available for distribution in |

| 2005 not less than 20,000 non-resident deer archery permits. In |
| 6 |
| 2006 and thereafter the number of non-resident deer archery |
| 7 |
| permits shall be no less than the number of applicants for |
| 8 |
| non-resident deer archer permits requested the previous year or |
| 9 |
| 20,000, whichever greater.".
