    AN ACT concerning State government.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Illinois Act on the Aging is amended  by 
5
adding Section 4.02f as follows:

    (20 ILCS 105/4.02f  new)
7
    Sec. 4.02f. Adult day service federal demonstration fund 
8
assistance. The Department may assist individual adult day 
9
service programs that operate as a part of its program of 
10
services to prevent unnecessary institutionalization 
11
established in Section 4.02 of this Act in applying for federal 
12
demonstration funds.

    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 
14
2005.
