| AN ACT concerning State government.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and |

| Duties Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is |
| 6 |
| amended by adding Section 2310-280 as follows:

| (20 ILCS 2310/2310-280 new) |

| Sec. 2310-280. Clinical trials information. The Director |
| 9 |
| of Public Health shall make available on the Department's |
| 10 |
| website information directing citizens to publicly available |
| 11 |
| information on ongoing clinical trials, and the results of |
| 12 |
| completed clinical studies, including those sponsored by the |
| 13 |
| National Institutes of Health, those sponsored by academic |
| 14 |
| researchers, and those sponsored by the private sector. |
