| AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2112

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2112 as follows:

| on page 1, line 24, after "college.", by inserting the |
| 4 |
| following:
"Also beginning on July 1, 2005, one of the 11 |
| 5 |
| members appointed by the Governor, by and with the advice and |
| 6 |
| consent of the Senate, must be a member of the board of |
| 7 |
| trustees of a public community college district. The membership |
| 8 |
| requirements set forth in this Section apply only to the State |
| 9 |
| Board and shall have no effect on the membership of the board |
| 10 |
| of trustees of a community college district."; and
|
| 11 |
| on page 2, line 11, by replacing "college," with "college,".
