    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Code of Civil Procedure is amended  by

changing Section 7-103.70 as follows:

    Sec. 7-103.70. Quick-take;
Southwestern Illinois

Development Authority.

    (a)
Quick-take proceedings under Section 7-103 may be used

for a period from August 30, 2006
2003 to August 30, 2008
2005

by the
Southwestern
Illinois Development Authority pursuant to 
12
the Southwestern Illinois
Development Authority Act for a 
13
project as defined in Section 3 of that Act.
