| AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2680

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2680 on page 20, by |
| 3 |
| replacing lines 24 through 27 with the following: |
| 4 |
| "organization is composed of law enforcement personnel. This |
| 5 |
| subsection does not apply to: |
| 6 |
| (1) any organization that is authorized to use those |
| 7 |
| terms under
subsection (d-2) of Section 11 of the |
| 8 |
| Solicitation for
Charities Act; |
| 9 |
| (2) any public or private institution of higher |
| 10 |
| education that is authorized to grant degrees under |
| 11 |
| Illinois law if the terms are used to describe the |
| 12 |
| expertise or activities of the institution or any |
| 13 |
| department, unit, or program of that institution; or |
| 14 |
| (3) any unit of local government or other public body |
| 15 |
| created under Illinois law.".
