| AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2980

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2980 on page 4, |

| line 13, after the period, by inserting "A municipal police |
| 4 |
| department may apply for a waiver excusing the municipal police |
| 5 |
| department from compliance with these reporting requirements. |
| 6 |
| The Secretary of Transportation may, in his or her discretion, |
| 7 |
| grant the requested waiver on the basis of factors, including |
| 8 |
| but not limited to the small size of the municipal police |
| 9 |
| department, that would prevent the municipal police department |
| 10 |
| from complying with these reporting requirements.".
