AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2980

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2980 on page 4,

line 13, after the period, by inserting "A municipal police 
4
department may apply for a waiver excusing the municipal police 
5
department from compliance with these reporting requirements. 
6
The Secretary of Transportation may, in his or her discretion, 
7
grant the requested waiver on the basis of factors, including 
8
but not limited to the small size of the municipal police 
9
department, that would prevent the municipal police department 
10
from complying with these reporting requirements.".
