| SENATE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Peoria Police |
| 4 |
| Officer Christy S. Tindall on December 30, 2004; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born October 13, 1971 to Clinton and |
| 6 |
| Barbara Steinseifer Tindall in Peoria; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Christy was a field training officer for the |
| 8 |
| Peoria Police Department for ten years, and was a member of the |
| 9 |
| Peoria Police Benevolent Association; she died from injuries |
| 10 |
| sustained after a single-vehicle accident in Peoria; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her father; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Christy S. Tindall will be felt by |
| 13 |
| all who knew and loved her, especially her mother and |
| 14 |
| stepfather, Barbara and Richard Salyars; her sister, Nichole |
| 15 |
| Salyars; and Amanda Chalus, with whom she made her home; |
| 16 |
| therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 18 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 19 |
| Christy S. Tindall and extend our sincerest condolences to her |
| 20 |
| family, friends, and community; and be it further
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 22 |
| presented to her family as an expression of our deepest |
| 23 |
| sympathy.
