| SENATE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Philip F. Motl of Darien, |
| 4 |
| formerly of Downers Grove, on January 8, 2005; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Philip was an industrial engineer for more than 40 |
| 6 |
| years; he worked with International Harvester and also for JI |
| 7 |
| Case, a heavy equipment manufacturer; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and |
| 9 |
| was a member of the Alexander Bradley Burns Post 80, American |
| 10 |
| Legion, Downers Grove; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Philip F. Motl is felt by all who |
| 12 |
| knew and loved him, especially his wife of 57 years, Jane; his |
| 13 |
| son, Jon (Jennifer); his brothers, James, Richard, and David; |
| 14 |
| his sister, Betty Krebs; and his grandchildren, Haley, Hannah, |
| 15 |
| and Aidan; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 17 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 18 |
| Philip F. Motl and we extend our sincerest condolences to his |
| 19 |
| family and friends; and be it further
|
| 20 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 21 |
| presented to his family as an expression of our deepest |
| 22 |
| sympathy.
