| SENATE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with regret of the recent death of Maria (nee Jorge) |
| 4 |
| Zepeda of Chicago; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was the daughter of Benita Jorge-Cardona, |
| 6 |
| born in Chicago and lived there her entire life; she was 47 |
| 7 |
| years old; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Ms. Zepeda devoted her life to her family; she was |
| 9 |
| an employee of the Cook County Recorder of Deeds; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Maria Zepeda has been deeply felt |
| 11 |
| by many, especially her husband, Sergio; her children, Bertha |
| 12 |
| (Sean) Sitzes and Sergio; and her siblings, Bertha Jorge, Olga |
| 13 |
| Rios, Josefina Jorge, Rosa Garcia, Alicia Jorge, and Jose |
| 14 |
| Jorge; she was a fond aunt, cousin, and friend to many; |
| 15 |
| therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL |
| 17 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of |
| 18 |
| Maria Zepeda, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her family, |
| 19 |
| friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
|
| 20 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 21 |
| presented to the family of Maria Zepeda as an expression of our |
| 22 |
| sincerest condolences.
